After playing for a while I've decided I'd like to find a replacement player for me in this game. I'll continue to play my turns for now, but if a new player isn't found, I guess I'll have to self-destruct my bases and units. I have several issues with this game, and it just isn't fun for me. For starters, the map is too big for the kind of game I thought this would be. It's essentially a builder map, but not resource rich enough, and there's too much fungus! Also, the layout is unsuitable for a fast and furious naval warfare scenario. I think a smaller map, with more "normal" island chains (think Caribbean or South Pacific), and a lot less fungus would have been better for this type of game. Anyway, I'm sorry to jump ship on you all, but I've really thought about it, and I just don't want to play this one anymore. I hope you all read this thread. I'll post another looking for a replacement, and I'll e-mail Googlie about it.
