Just to round it off.

As per recent mail communication - I understand Mark and Googlie considers it a lost case and thought we were finished - I suggest we call it quits.

Though I understand Hobbes would like to play on - realistically there is not much point. I could of course attack, but it would be a matter of simply moving in the forces and that would be that. 3-4 turns at most.

Making the others go through the motions - after it was stopped while Mark was gone and has now been sort of dropped from memory as a done deal in which they have no interest is not really much fun.

The alternative is we take a team win.
The call is yours though Hobbes.
Please let me know.

Hmmmmmmmmm, I am happy to continue, though am equally certain of the final outcome as everyone else. I don't see a lot of point in continuing & am happy to concede.

Seconded. Though it was a good game while it lasted, and I had a lot of fun. Still....when Kim got the Vats, it was all over.

Thing is, I was quite well placed in the early game. Main mistake was not expanding agressively enough - partly due to a lack of space, and partly due to a reluctance to colonise other lands. Of course, had we gotten the Vats, we'd have been in with a chance.

Anyway, congrats (again) to Buster....you certainly deserve it. A commanding performance once again.

My luck was that there was a lot of "well developed and ready to harvest" AI just sitting nearby.

The take over really boosted me and kept me in the game so that I had a chance at grabbing those vital vats.
