Sorry about delay - I messed up and mistakenly thought I had already done the turn.

Concerning the difficulty level un-equality flaw found in some games, I cannot really say what level I am playing at (have no tech for changing SE settings). Drones are behaving transcendish, but this is a guess not a certainty.

As googlie who plays Pk (last player) however is playing at transcend and as this game is not on Taus list, my feeling is that the bug is not affecting this game.

Also the setup (4 players + 3 AI - random map)does not look "scenarioish".

I will let you know what level I am at as soon as I can see for sure. In the meamtime I suggest we continue while the rest of you check what level you are playing at. Then we can take it from there once we know if there is a problem at all.

This game is fine, I have checked it. Of the tournament games, only the games on the list are affected, and of those, only AXT029 and AXT030 are SMACX games.

BlackSunrise contacted me and told me that he has contracted an email virus. He would like us to hold the game for a bit until he can find something to clear it up. I'm fine with that. I have had another player in one of my games inform me that two people he is playing with have also contracted viruses so lets keep our gaurd up. I checked my system yesterday and it appears fine though my Norton virus definitions are out of date by about a month (the contract ran out).

Thanks for the heads-up WE - I updated my antivirus stuff today as a result.

Maybe my absence for the next 36 hours won't be too severe on the game then (I am leaving first thing Wed morning for Palm Springs ( .) - driving - will be there by noon PST Thursday

OK, back online.
Here's the symptoms of the virus: when you send an email out, a second email is sent immediately afterwards to the same person. It has no subject, only an attachment.
It is about 18k.
Sometimes the attachment file extension is not shown.
The virus is only about three months old, my norton was four months old, did not detect it at all.
You will be unable to go to certain websites (like symantec orother anti-virus software websites).
It's the w95/mtx@M virus. Here's a link to fix it if you were infected: Click here.
If you have the virus, you will be unable to get the patch to fix it on your machine, though you can get to this site. Go to another machine, get the patch, download it to floppy, bring back to infected machine and run.
Hope this is of some help.
Course I gave the virus to about 400 people in 4 days, so this is just me trying to relieve Karmic debt.
