There is some soundfiles in the FX folder, I'd like an explanation of. The files are:

    fac11.wav
    fac31.wav
    fac37.wav

    (fac29.wav)

    Fac37.wav
    I wake, I work, I sleep, I die.
The dark of space my only sky.
My life has past and all I've been
will never touch the earth again

    "The ballad of skyfarm three"
    -- Anonymous, Datalinks

    Fac31.wav
I once walked this shores at night, listening to the waves wash
across sand and rock. Now I hear the thunder of batteries which,
in as much as it will guarantee the eventual harmony of Planet, I
    find almost as soothing.

    -- Lady Deidre Skye,
    "Planet Dreams"

    Fac11.wav
Those who don't believe we can create the perfect man or woman out
of pixels and light, overestimate the capacity of their senses.

Well done ccp! I have no idea what these are for. The fac29.wav file, reminds me of how much I despise the voice of Planet.

If you listen to the equivalent .mp3 files in the voices directory, the .wavs also fit the corresponding facility to some extent (fac37 is Orb. Def. Pod, fac31 is Cent. Pres., fac11 is Holo. Theatre) - so I suspect these were original quotes reconsidered for final release.

However, can anyone tell me what the point of fac38.mp3 in Voices is? According to Prima, it's the quote for Stockpile Energy, but since that lasts forever, when is it ever heard?

I hold a scrap of paper in the darkness and
light it. I watch it burn bright and curl, disappearing
into nothingness, and the heat burns my fingers.
Where has it gone? What has it become? I cannot shake
the feeling that I have witnessed a form of transcendence.

In addition there is two deleted techs, Tech24 and Tech70.

Until now the battle had been proceeding smoothly: the enemy
was outflanked and had been driven from the reactor housing. But
against the reactor itself the matter cannon were strangely
          ineffective. Rounds simply . . . stopped. In mid-air.
