How do i set the game, smac, to always play at this setting? I thought the setting could be made in the alpha.ini file, but there was nothing there concerning the resolution. Thanks in advance.

You have to add
Video Mode=1024
to your .ini file.

Hmm.. don't you just have to change your windows resolution? That works for me. It turns to 800x600 if I'm running win in the same, and it goes to 1024 when I'm running that or higher out in win.
