MP on GameRanger
I had my first net game on GameRanger (GR) today and it was a lot of fun! Of the three other players, one was familiar with ACS. I invited all of them to come and visit and sit-a-spell (a southern-American expression). GR has a fairly easy to use interface and the software includes plugins which automatically launch the games. This means that if you want to host a game, setup the GR stuff first! If you have Civ2 open on your computer while GR is looking for it, you will sit and wait and nothing will happen! Yeah, I did that and took so long that no one joined my second game! Give it a look. I am using "MacUser" as my Nickname there as well as here. (Kat or Elvis if you see this, I changed my Nickname from "Steve" to "MacUser" after our game.)
