this isnt specifically a civ 3 problem, but I cannot play the game properly, until it is fixed, and idnt even notice it existed until i bought civ 3.
I have a NEC MultiSync E500 monitor
it supports the 1024 x 766 resolution
(or rather acorcing to the specis it does)
but when i went to play civ 3 it was trying to run
it in 800 by 600 mode.
At first i thought this was purely a civ 3 issue so i re installed
my vdieo card drivers, put in a newer driver for my
monitor, and noticed something it had both
the Generic Monitor
and my Nec Multysync e500 listeed, if i deleted the
Default Monitor Windows re installs it at first opotunity.
Anyhow i think this is why its preventing me from going to the nececary Resolution settings to play the game, does anyonw know how to fix this?
i am running win98 Se
Amd 800
and an Asus V700 pro video card.
