hi, i'm new to civ & recently bought civ3 complete. the install went fine and the game plays ok except for when i try to play multiplayer hotseat... i suspect the other multiplayer options aren't working properly either
when i try hotseat, i get to the set up screen ok and can set the players etc but when i try to launch the game the computer hangs (it gets stuck on assigning team colours). also i don't get any buttons to the left of where i select the players but if i click there anyway the whole thing crashes.
i have tried reinstalling and playing without the virus checker cyber sitter and zone alarm running (or other background programs) and have been through updating the drivers. i'm using a p4 dell notebook with win xp and have the same problem on another p3 dell notebook. can anyone help please!
