This may not be a problem with Civ 3, but I figured I'd go ahead and ask:
A friend and I have a game going and everything is going fine until the end of one turn. I'll settle down and start reading my book (It's 880 AD and the turns take about four minutes, supposedly) and I'll hear the little 'thuwmp' signifying the turn is about to begin. I get all ready and as I see the computer units going about their orders (fortifying, etc.), the game exits to the main menu. This has happened twice so far in the same place after loading the save I made before the turn ended. When I contact my friend about what happened, he says that I timed out and dropped. Well, my DSL didn't go out and I didn't unplug or do anything like that, so I figure it's a problem with Civ.
Any ideas/suggestions? Or do you need more info for this to make sense ?
And Merry Christmas, too. I like the smilies .
