I'm working on a scenario on the Fall of Rome, since I don't think Atari's version quite captures it right.
I came across a rather annoying problem...one can only have 4 locked alliances in any scenario.
Since I have 18 civs (Romans, Byzantines, Gepids, Ostrogoths, Visigoths, Sueves, Vandals, Armenians, Saxons, Lombards, Franks, Sassanids, Moors, Burgundians, Britons, Picts, Huns, Avars), I'll need more.
The West and East Romans are obviously in an alliance.
As are the Huns and their vasals (Avars, Gepids, Ostrogoths).
And both are at war with eachother.
But...I want the Vandals at war with both Romans too.
And the Saxons at war with the Britons and Picts.
And the Picts with the Saxons and Britons.
And the Sassanids with the Armenians and East Romans.
And the Huns with the Visigoths and Burgundians.
So how can I fix this? And if I can't...what 4 locked alliances should I use? What do you suggest?
