On the 25th I'll be glad to make a detailed post of the "nuts and bolts" of setting up a PBEM game.

PBEM: Play By EMail. Mutliplayer game in which the saved game is mailed to each participant so that he play his turn

Succession Game: Multiplayer game in which all players play the same civ, each one playing a specific number of turns and then passing the game to the next

No, but there is a CIV MP group and PBEM is MP afterall, but I'm sure that if there's enough demand that Markos would make a separate CIV PBEM group.
