Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has managed to get into a game using an SSH tunnel? I have a pitboss server running at home (port 2056 I believe), I have a firewall whilst I'm out and about that I can't edit.
Therefor I have configured SSH on my home box (I can remote in from putty and execute commands successfully).
In my putty config I have created a tunnel with the source port as 2050 and a destination of 192.168.100.101:2056.
I log that tunnel in and attempt to connect from within Civ4's directplay feature using localhost:2050 and I'm getting timeouts.
Has anyone managed this successfully? Is there a guide somewhere that I've missed?
