Hello fellow Civ4 players.
First of, let me just say I wasn't sure if I should post this in the help section or here, but I went with here.....
uhhh... anyways... I can't seem to join over direct Ip (not in gamespy either), and I always get a timeout message...
Now, I've searched a bit both here and on som other forums, but the searches yielded no solutions... Does anyone have a clue as to what may be causing this? I thought of opening ports and stuff, but I am neither familiar with that stuff, nor do I have access to any router. I use the connection at my dorm, and have no idea when or where or who I should address this problem to here.
Any help will be greatly apreciated.

edit: I just noticed some sort of chat room, I'm gonna
head over there and see what I can dig up, but feel free to post here if you have any tips
