Will 'Realism' mod work with new patch?

I really like the 'Realism' mod found over at Civ Fanatics and wondered if it will still work the way it is supposed to with the new patch?

Also with that mod, can I go into and start a 'custom' game? I like it but want to limit the number of AI players on large maps or just pick the ones that I get thats all.

Should I delete my old games with the new patch installed?
