Hi! I was not at war with Japan prior to this turn, however had a few Japanese units in my territory. We had no open borders agreement and in fact no deals at all, a 10turn peace deal having expired maybe 20 turns ago. During the last AI turn, Tokugawa declared war on me.
I have to assume these units entered my territory when it was Indian territory (they had open borders with India, and I was attacking and quickly conquering India). However, they continued to stay in my territory, and at least the unit below was CERTAINLY in my territory both before and after the declaration of war - he did not have to leave, as he would have had he maintained open borders with me.
Perhaps units should be forced to leave the territory regardless of open borders or not, when a war is declared ... or else if they end up in your territory w/o open borders and w/o a war, they should automatically teleport?
