I'm having some problems with loading mods I've created. I copied all (I know thats not nessecary) the xml files to my documents/mods directory and made some minor edits. When I start the game I go to advanced/load mod and select the mod. I then restart the game as I'm told to and I see that the xml files in the documents/mods are loaded.
When I reenter the game I can see that my edits haven't "been loaded". I've tried selecting both "play custom game" and "play game".
I've tried clearing the cache folder, but that didn't help. I've also tried copying the edited files to the default xml folder under the civ installation which loads the mod fine.
What am I doing wrong here?
