France, Germany and the New Italian Empire have broken with NATO and formed their own alliance. Mankind has reached for the stars, Thanks to a new HyperAcceleration Engine (Pluto in a Month), and the first Extraterrestrial human Nation has been formed from a rebellious American lunar colony. Mars colonization has begun, only to find it already inhabited by martians small lizardlike fellows, not very advanced actually. Mexico and most of the rest of Central America have joined the US to escape conquest at the hands of the Incans. Africa has banded together to try to compete in the Modern world, joining the Star Reachers who like themselves have yet to Colonise another planet. The Race is on for Asteroid capturing. The rest is for you to write....

21 Dec. 2099- Deceleration has been successfully completed and our ship began initial orbit of Jupiter today. The rest of the convoy is scheduled to arrive over the next 10 days, with the exception of the escort that developed engine troubles and the delayed cargo pods, both of which, I am told, should show up by the end of January. Initial status checks show that almost all the pre-deploy equipment is in working order, and the vanguard is preparing to descend now to fix or salvage the malfunctioned pods.
23 Dec. 2099- The majority of the fleet is beginning to switch over to Europa orbit now. TT-014 begins burn in just over half an hour now…
24 Dec. 2099- The first landing ships have descended and initial structures are currently being set up. Learned last shift that there were software errors or somesuch in the nav cycle, the TTs all got out of correct orbit. Looks like the –014 won’t have to wait for too long, but several ships came much farther away than expected, and one, the –006, I think, may have to wait an extra couple weeks while they figure out how to shift the right amount of fuel to get back into proper course…
29 Dec. 2099- Landed today. Only had a brief time to get acquainted with my new residence, in Green Hall, before reporting to work roster. Green Hall is still in the process of being assembled, and the future residents of Red, Yellow, and Blue Halls are still living in temporary shelters…
3 Jan. 2100- Construction dominates the new colony, Virtue City. I feel somewhat out of place, as professionals such as my self have little to do yet, so have been temporarily assigned to labor stints or whatever else needs doing and can be done with almost no instruction. However, I look forward to when the essentials have been put in place and I can start doing my real job, especially when the next colonies are founded…

The United States has now plans to put a Space Navy base and Science Station on Jupitor moons. Also new construction of Space Naval Ships is under way.
The United Lunar States has plans of spreading to Venus. As a consquence it had advised all other nations that we claim Venus as our soverign territory.
We also have the offers on the tables to all nations with Luna territory. We propose that it should be united with us. In return the Luna States will sign an act of nutrality on Earth and promise to not interfere with any wars. Futhermore Lunaian ports will be opened to all navies and traders, except for navies at war.

New Italian Empire - Torino - Throne Room
Raffaello, the Italian Emperor was looking at his world map, the New Italian Empire have managed to become a new power to be reckoned with, it was amazing what he managed to achieve in only 57 years, he still remembered the days of the Italian civil war, when he was fighting along side the Royalist forces against the Repubblicans, in order to restore the Monarchy. He still remember the day when King Emanuele Filiberto was killed heirless by a bullet, fired by a young Repubblican soldier, the King was dead, but in his last breath he appointed him: General Raffaello, the new King of Italy.
In the end the Monarchist won, the old Repubblic was replaced by the so called "New Repubblic": the only repubblic in the world where there is a King... or better an Emperor.
Yes, because the war was not over yet, the reborn Persian Empire Armies were marching through Turkey, leaving a wasteland behind them. They were threatning Europe... It was time for a last crusade: he thought. Quickly at the head of his legions he marched through the Balkan territories, proclaiming that he would have stopped the Persians, many nations welcomed their new Italian lord, knowing that anything was better than the Persians.
Finally he arrived in Greece, were his legions, tired for the long travel met against the Persian hordes at Thessaloniki. The battle will forever be remembered as the bloodiest battle of all the 21st century, many people felt they had fallen back to the medieval time, and that they were fighting the "infidels"... but it was not, it was the year 2041, and they were fighting against one of the most advanced army in the world.
In the end it was a Persian victory, the two Empires signed a peace treaty, and Greece was added to the Persian realms. But one day, he thought, he will destroy the Persians once and for all.
Today all the ethnicities of the New Italian Empire are perfectly integrated. Croatians, Serbian, Albanian, Rumenian, Bulgarians, Italians and even Swiss are now citizen of this new, rising Empire. The only repubblic with an Emperor.

We agree that a treaty is in order. We also believe that for the larger moons, sole ownership is not only unreasonable but harmful. Territorial claims over asteroids and small moons must be respected, but having neighboring colonies on large moons is not only acceptable but beneficial, allowing us to pool our efforts in development, if desirable, and aid each other in any crises that may come up. Much better than each having a moon with vast tracts unsettled when some may make use of it.
