Played a few test set ups and with 8 players the sets were next to one another a little more than half the time so heres hoping this set is one of those.

Start position looks very good. No complaints.

Hmmm...I thought I sent this on Thursday to Anatolia.
In any case, I'll sent it to him now. Sorry for the delay.

I had forgotten all about this PBEM.
Anyone for trying again, I seem to have forgotten my passwords. The really annoying thing is I wrote them down only to have them thrown away last week.
EDIT: Waitaminute. I remembered the first one! One more to go......
Yay!

It is only when you play an industrious civ and a non-industrious civ immediately afterwards that you realise just what a difference that trait gives.

Are we going to upgrade to version 1.27? Most of my other games are changing and I want to avoid a dual install (1.21 and 1.27).
My vote is to change to 1.27.

I am now confused as to whether 1.21 plays 1.27 games or not. Either way I did a dual install but with only an 8GB hard disk I would like to move to only 1.27 ASAP, I need that 1.2GB back!

Apparently you can. The ISDG upgraded to 1.27 and that patch has never touched my computer but I was able to play and pass the save along anyway.

Well, I should be in contact with myself in a couple of turns.
I am looking forward to working with the leader of another civ who is totally reliable and on my side (I hope).
