The impressive thing is, even though the game has slowed... all the original players are still in it.![]()
I'm not conceited, conceit is a fault and I have no faults...
As always, will play after work. I wonder if I'll ever be able to turn that the other way...

And it looks like the turn rate will slowly begin speeding up as summer gets closer.

I heard a loud voice, I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! It's rider was named Death, and hades was following close behind him. They were given power over one fourth of the earth to kill by the sword, famine and plague.

Sorry to hear you're leaving this game BlackIce, just getting interesting!

Thanks ricketyclik I have yet to use all those sols and troops.I thought and still do that this game will be a thread topper.
Disapointing to leave but it is the logical choice since all other games I am in are near completion. This one is early and the new player stands a good chance of taking it to fruition.
GOOD GAMMING PEOPLE :B:
It has been a pleasure and hope time comes back in the summer to play a few more with this group.

Hello all,
I'm happy to join this game, thank you for inviting me. From the several pervious posts I'm guesing that I will be taking over black-ice's civ and that its in very good condition - uh oh, I hope I don't let him down. This will be my first game among the Apolyton crew and I hope it will lead to many others.
Black-ice, in a different thread (recruitment centre) Keygan sugested that I request "fast flier" from you. I'm guessing that's the pbem turn file? I'll do my utmost to take care of the civ you have nurtured thus far.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to it guys and I look forward to seeing you all in the game (except of course when its a wad of tanks headed my way... but perhaps even then). I'll read through the thread to find out anything I should know about taking over the position.
my e-mail for turns and ctp related stuff is:
beckyandyj@rogers.com
alternate e-mail if for some reason is ever needed:
beckyandyj@yahoo.com
Thanks,
Andy

Welcome Andy!
So you haven't played ctp with other people? How far did you get in the single-player game?
This game is an island map that is just getting interesting, approaching the modern age. It definitely changes the dynamics to have Blackice out of the game, he is an excellent player so I'm sure your civ is in great condition. He was feuding with your closest neighbor Milamber at one time, I haven't heard anything about it lately but you probably have some diplomacy to do.

Thanks for the welcome David.
I've played PBEM with friends over the past year or so, haven't played against the computer in a very long time - gave that up when I discovered human opponents. I'm off for the summer and since my other friends I play ctp with are all working I need a larger dose to keep me out of trouble...
I'll have to check out the situation when I load up my first turn. But thanks for filling me in on a wee bit of whats already happened. Starting with a bit of fore-knowledge of whats already transpired in my civ will help me to assess whats going on faster... Cheers.

I'm assuming by the thread that only Milamber is sending to the moderator? Please advise I'f I'm wrong.
Keygen, sorry about the miss-spelling.
92 also sent to Stojan after reading his message below (message edited)

Stojan, (or other players)
Can you let me know what wonders have been started by the other players. (I would know this from the wandering merchants messages when they started building them had I been in the drivers seat all along.)(sorry for the hastle)
Cheers,
A

To my knowledge, there are no wonders being built right now.
