Anyone??

Has anyone tried to play a game on a small map with 32 civs? Is it fun or worth it? I would come to think that with 1 or 2 cities ( I think) available to each civs it would be hard to build wonders and keep a good defense at the same time. Is there a lot of war?
Also, if I put optimum number of cities at 30 in the editor, will the AI try to reach that number of cities even if the land available to him only offers 2 cities.
Thanks.

I don't know about 32, but I've tried 24 on a small map with the Post-modern scenario. It was pretty fun. Not very viable as a real game, but fun just for fun's sake.

I've played with 12 civs at Tiny Archipelago map.
No more place then for 2 or 3 cities per civ.
32 on a small map rocks.
Be aggressive. Start to conquer early. If you start a war make sure you finish it by wiping out the civ or your bad reputation will kill you.
Sorry....nothing to say!

Agreed. That was my strategy, and it was pretty successful...except that for the life of me I couldn't kill Greece. THey kept starting over everytime I destroyed their last city. Could someone explain why that is?Originally posted by ACooper

Would this have anything to do with the "respawn" option?Agreed. That was my strategy, and it was pretty successful...except that for the life of me I couldn't kill Greece. THey kept starting over everytime I destroyed their last city. Could someone explain why that is?
