In another thread someone said they didn't like the "hangar" in the airfield graphic. In fact, I don't like the airfield graphic at all since it looks too cluttered when placed on the map, it almost looks like a small city.
So, I decided to edit the graphic leaving only the runway so it looks more like in Civ2.
So, without further ado, here's the files:

Hm, the industrial era graphics look like the airbase is "floating" over the map... maybe this is due to jungles, mountains and hills behind it.

and also due to the fact that road/rail improvements always go under the airbase, yet irrigation/mine improvements always go above.
