Mac SMAX! (PBEM turn reporting)

illiria: Hive
FlameFlash: Believers
Echinda: Spartans

We'll go with illiria's favoriate settings since neither Echinda nor I seemed to care one way or the other:

SMAX
Medium map, rocky, wet, few aliens
Directed research

We'll also turn off winning by conquest just so that the AIs won't be as trigger happy.

Turning off Random events.

Otherwise standard rules.

When you get your turn, enter in whatever password you want the first time, I'm not going to make any up (can't really without being unfair) and let's not contact each other until we actually meet or trade to get the comlink frequencies.

I can't think of anything else that isn't common sense as far as being fair goes... you'll all have gotten an e-mail as to the same details.

Hey guys - just thought I should let you know I'm catching a red-eye flight Tuesday night next week and I will be out of town on vacation till the following Thursday with no access to SMAX.

Say, have you heard of the new .Mac service apple is offering? If you don't want to pay ~$50 for your e-mail service from them per year (if you've already purchased more iDisk space then you don't have to worry about it.)

Think it's worth it to pay, or just look for another free e-mail provider? I don't know anybody else who uses a @mac.com address or I'd ask them.
