How good is the med pack compared to celestial dawn pack ?

I'm debating which pack to use, I have the apolyton pack which includes the celestial dawn mod and am combining this with the awesome aips pack.
Can I use both packs at once ?
What are the main differences and in your opinions which is the better to use ? or the one with least faults.

The Apolyton Pack (CD/AAIP combo) is in Wes' Med Mod. Just install the Med Mod and forget about everything else.
