Hey Dugrik,

Karsten.Duerotin@epost.de
Thanks!

Hi guys, great to be aboard.
1. Please copy me when you send your turns.
2. Please place Fly High, the turn number, and the handle of the next player in the subject line of your email.
3. I'm assuming that the 24-hour rule is in effect. I will next your turn (not play it) if you're late.
4. If you're going to be gone for less than a week I will play your turn with prior notice. If its going to be longer you should arrange for a substitute.
5. This is the last time I want to ask: Who has the turn?
Good luck and may the best civilization win!

Hi Dugrik! It's good to have someone moderating this game. Hopefully it will move more smoothly now.
I have just sent the turn (Can't remember which number) to Fraze. I will send a copy to Dugrik now I know that he is moderating this game.
Turn Sent
Welcome Dugrik I only just read the thread so I haven't cc'd you this time but I will from now on, but I can't seem to find your address. Please post it. Thanks for moderating this game really needs it.
Turn to Hunter.
Dugrik, I'd like to not get ranked for this game. The Americans are pretty screwed up - most cities obviously didn't produce anything for several turns, and they are desperate to go by.
Can I get rated later on if I manage to improve on that situation? Or is the decision final?
Rubbduck,
what time did you send the turn to me? only it has not turned up. could you please resend it
INFO - IMPORTANT.
IF YOU CHANGES YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESSES (ALL INCLUDING OUR MODERATOR) EITHER WRITE IT HERE OR MAIL ME.
THEN I WILL EDIT THE VERY FIRST POST IN THE THREAD, SECURING IT ALWAYS SHOWS THE PLAYERS AND THEIR CORRECT E-MAIL ADDRESSES.
THX.

Turn to Dungirk.

I couldn't find anything in the ladder rules to cover this. I think you have to declare rated or non-rated now, or at least before turn 39. Quinns and Solver administer the Ladder system, you should ask them.Originally posted by Rubbduck

The answer is "Yes". As replacement, you can always choose to start unrated and then go rated later. I will remeber, when I am reporting next time.
But when you first says "I'm rated", then you cannot change back again without the 3 x defeat penalty.
Hm, then I'd rather wait a bit before deciding whether to become rated here.
Turn 37 ------> Hunter
I just returned from a lengthy visit to the cities of the American empire. And I have to admit I was shocked. Hastily built Granarys, almost useless but really widespread, dotted the countryside. No sign of an Aquaeduct in any of the American Cities. No Caravans at all. And all of the Cities really, really small.
Then I noticed why: The rations were set to 15.((
Dunno how that happened, but America is now back on track.

Having a lot of cash ready can aid in a recovery... with the newfound population growth (and a lot of forced Aquaeducts), America will do better in the future.![]()
