Judging from the amount of pain you are in and the discomfort you are feeling, I would recommend calling a doctor.

Beyond that, my suspicion is that you have herniated a disc. I'm tempted to say sciatica, but without the numbness and tingling, I doubt it is a nerve issue. However, that is still certainly a possibility. I'm not a doctor.

It may just also be a muscle knot. You could look into getting a massage, working it out yourself, or using a foam roller, perhaps.

You could wait it out. But with back issues, if it is serious, get it checked out ASAP. You don't want to be dealing with this 10-20 years from now.
To us, it is the BEAST.

Ah, thanks. No, doesn't seem to help.

Waiting things out is my usual treatment plan for any ailment from which I suffer. It's always worked in the past (except, you know, for the lifelong depression). But a herniated disc? ****. Don't I have to like do something to make that happen? I just woke up this way. And it's not like the pain woke me up or anything. I woke up normally, but in pain.

 It could be just a cramp, or a bad movement during sleep...

Eat ibuprofen by the handful (**** the warning labels), and if you have a heat pad try applying that to the area. Long term, make sure your weight is under control and don't sleep on your belly.

I know I normally recommend weed in this case, but in my experience it's not the right drug for this problem. Although it can't hurt.

Try to see if a relative can recommend you a good chiropractor.

The one I see really helps with back pain.

I had something similar about 15 years ago. I had to lie flat on my back on a hard surface to get any relief at all. I could barely walk. (and only hunched over)
Doctors didn't help. (in all fairness I never saw a specialist) It went away a few weeks later. I had it again for a few weeks a year or so later, but haven't had it that severe in over a decade.

Eating ibuprofen by the handful will ruin your liver. Evidence that you're asking the wrong people.

Personally, I'd say that it's osteobackitis.
An assectomy may be required, to allow your vertebra to slide into the correct position. Usually a partial will suffice.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

I've heard that penile assectomies are the simplest and cheapest of them all, and with only minimal preparation you can pretty much guarantee no lasting side effects.

I'm a lot less than 15 years younger than you are.

I don't think age was a factor. Or I'd probably be worse now that I'm older.

Wait how old is Rah? And how old is Lori? I got the impression of Rah being some 60+ dude based on how he keeps telling all of us how ancient he is. Lori you're like 30 right?
