i can highly recommend the xbox 360 controller for pc
now you can get the xbone controller too
i may get one of those
my gamepad usage is restricted to rom's and sports games... sometimes for driving games
but still, its a fun option to have

The ship building process can be long (and a bit tedious) if you don't like that sort of thing. There's a lot of trial and error... spectacular failures.

Overall, I would recommend it. However, there's little action apart from crashing and burning. If you can feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment by overcoming problems, you will enjoy the game very much.

The game has also had many updates since the last time I played.

I'm hoping the next round of vote-sales includes the group with OOTP Baseball. I have a soft spot for baseball sims. I played the **** out of APBA back in the day. I still have the stats from the 1989 season memorized

I was hoping to get OOTP for 10 bucks, too, but am not at all surprised that a group of sports games didn't win in a vote.

I post on a message board where Markus Heinsohn (the creator of OOTP) posts, though only stuff like OOTP XX is released.

This message board is also where Marc Vaughan (one of the early members of Sports Interactive, who created Championship Manager and Football Manager) posts as well. Vaughan also has a habit of posting really liberal comments on my Facebook posts .
