Clearly there's only one thing left to do...
Throw a toga party!

The summer semester is over. I got straight As in my dumb filler classes. My new GPA will be a 2.23, which is better than my old GPA by a factor of 4.46. But final grades haven't been posted yet. And until they are, I'm still on academic restriction and can't register for the Fall classes I want. My concern is that by the time grades are posted (which might not be until next week), the classes I want to take will be full. So here's my question.
Do I try to convince the people in charge of these things that they should let me register for classes despite the final verdict not being in on whether I'm a new man? Do I go in with taped up glasses and a pocket protector and show them that 49/22 > 1.75?
Or do I be patient and just wait until next week, come what may?

Clearly there's only one thing left to do...
Throw a toga party!
"I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure." - Clarence Darrow
"I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it." - Mark Twain

Your keenness to sign up for classes can only help the case that you are a new man - if they say no, they won't have lost anything.

We've got both kinds

Always challenge the rules. The worst they can say is no. As long as you don't act like a petulant child when you do it, they will never hold it against you.
Damn, beat me by a minute. I'm getting slow in my old age.

Baron O RIP.

2 votes for pestering, 1 vote for toga party. That's good enough for me.

Pester them while wearing a toga. Best of both worlds.

on lohari i have birthday and i enjoy my birthday without you. this time all frineds go to long drive

Well, that was surprisingly easy. I'm registered for Calc II and General Physics I, which is my college's introductory calculus-based physics class. I'll probably shut up about this whole college thing now.

Ugh, that sounds like a LOT of calculus. This is what you wanted?![]()

The alternative is that I go back to reading Scientific American and thinking that means I know something about how the world works.

?
Edit: Oh, yes I should pester my college? Well, I already did that. Mission accomplished.

To be fair, I usually just read the headlines. I feel that combines the speed of not actually reading the articles with the conviction of knowing how the latest sciencey terms are being used.

just continue to lick their rectums and you'll do fine![]()
