How do I set so all players is in one continent?

I've tried to set the slider full to continent setting in the Map options in the launch editor, but still the map ends up divided into three big continents. bug?

There is an Ocean vs Land slider and an Island vs Continent slider. If you wanna have a map with almost all land tiles than you have to max the Ocean vs Land slider.

I don't mind with continent that's surrounded by large bodies of water, but I want all the players to be in the same continent. How do I do that?

If you don't care about the amount of water your landmass is surrounded than you should be happy with a map that is land only. So max out the land slider and max out the continent slider, I guess. Unfortunately I don't have the game on this computer so I cannot test it.
