    Any hope for running MGE on Vista

    Playing the recent boardgame version of SMC got me itching to play my copy of Civ2:MGE, but my new computer (Vista 6.0) crashes it the instant I found my first city. Any suggestions?

    If it is a DOS version you cold try DOSBox.

    Civ2 2.42 needed at least Win 3.11, I'm not sure about MGE, but you might want to try and look for Win 3.x emulatiors (I think DosBOX has one)

    VirtualBox. Run WinXP or wahtever inside Virtual Box and you can play Civ2 forever.
