I really enjoyed our match, that was fun. I was really impressed at how smoothly it ran. The only time I ran into trouble was when I invaded. The interaction got pretty laggy then, I suppose because our troops were fighting it out. It's frustrating to click on a unit, tell it to move, and have nothing happen. Then ten seconds later that unit is dead.

Glad we figured out the diplomacy thing there at the end, useful to know for the future.

I'm just happy to have improved my record to 1-1.

Just installed it and played 4 hours thinking I was just going to have a quick look... damn good... seems simpler but that may be good; no health?, just happiness to deal with? GP's only from wonders?

Sorry, I've not followed much in the Civ 5 threads.

Some of the threads are life savers, I know a number of concepts in the new game would have crushed me if I hadn't talked them over with some of the guys here.

I'm pdxsean on steam as well. I see you're in Australia, I'm on the west coast US ... you're like 14 hours ahead of me? I know most of the European time zones, but I can't even remember how many hours Hawaii is off.
