The Netherlands, lead by William of Orange (or even better: "Willem van Oranje"). The dutch dominated the seas, found New York and discovered Australia and South Africa! The Netherlands were one of the founding nations of the European Union and last but not least, Amsterdam is the Capital of the Liberated World!
