Time to bring back those old lists again, it's been a while

Time to vote for your favorite game released 2005-2008

Rules:
You have 100 points to distribute
You can pick up to 15 games to give points
The games has to be released in the years 2005-2008
You can give a maximum of 40 points for each game
Expansion packs doesn't count as a game
Beta's doesn't count (as they have not been released)
MMO's are allowed

I will always take the release date for first release. If the game was e.g. released for consoles in 2004 and released for PC in 2005 I'll take the 2004 release date

I liked Awesome Game too.

On a more serious note you shouldn't let people choose how many games to allocate their 100 points to because it skews things too much. I'd go for the old x points for first choice, y points for second choice approach.

hmmm. Well I haven't played many new games. Do XP's count as being new (within the window I mean). If so I'd include world of warcraft. But I'll be nice and not include the BC expansion pack.

As I've said, haven't played many games. Of the top of my head I'd say KOTOR 2 and Neverwinter Nights 2. Hmmm, that's all I can think of (that belong on this list) within those dates.

edit: holy crap I forgot the most important game of all released in that time frame. shame on me. And shame on you all for not having this on the top of your lists.

I don't count Add-ons as extra games. So if you're adding a game, that also includes all expansion packs

I have thought about it, but for a lot of people it might not be possible to add 10 games to the list of favorite games (Just look at Dis)
Maybe I should put on a limit so that you can maximum allocate 40 points for one game

In that case then they just nominate a 10 pointer and an 8 pointer or whatever. Much better than having some people give x points to a game they don't even like much and another person not even giving that to their top game.

When I do a google search on Victoria I can only find these two:

Victoria: An Empire Under the Sun (released 2003)
Victoria: Revolutions (expansion pack to the above)

The expansion pack doesn't count and the first game was released before 2005

KOTOR2 - 7

According to wiki this was released dec 2004, so doesn't count

Quakelive 40 points because it is the only thing I really play now.

But it hasn't been released yet from what I know. It's still in beta, and has been that since late 2008

True, but anyone can play it, it's a public beta. It's as playable as any other FPS game out there. It is a beta like gmail was beta forever for no reason.

But I didn't specify that only PC games where allowed, so I'll always take the first release for a game. KOTOR2 was released 2004 for consoles

My favorite games are 1.Civ IV, 2. Super mario galaxy, 3. Call of Duty : modern warfare etc, I love to play all the games. Most of the games are my favorite games, playing the games you will have many benefits like improving your educational skills and also it gives you a lot of entertainment and enjoyment.
