Tri-League Players of the Year 2008

2008 has drawn to a close, and with the end of game 28 so has the Tri-League calendar......

It is therefore time to look over the past years games and tally up the points for each player depending on how they faired over the year.

Points will awarded over three categories.

Podium positions

1st place : 3 points
2nd place : 2 points
3rd place : 1 point

Per 5 podium placings - We have decided to award consistently superior play by having a small bonus for regular podium placings.

1 point

None podium submission - We have decided to award perseverance, patience and stamina with a token bonus.

0.2 point


The Player of the Year for each league will receive a ONE YEAR Polyplus subscription, and the title of 'Tri-League Player of the Year'!

Congrats to the other winners in the years recap! It was a very nice gesture and effort for the moderators/staff to prepare and reward the players in acknowledgement of their play time through the year...

Playing in the Tri-League games has been the highlight of many of my weeks in 2008. I can't say 2009 is shaping up very promising in the Advanced league, as I muddle through my first game in a sorry way...

Thanks again for the league competition and I highly recommend it to all!
