FG: NW 41 - Return to War
It had been more than a year since the world had last seen nuclear war. The fallout from the last bout had been left to settle, and a since of normalcy was starting to return to the world. But said normalcy was not destined to last long, for from the ruins of empires old emerged rulers of empires new.
And, they just so happened to recover the nuclear secrets and arsenals of those who had come before them. Good for them... not so good for the world, is it? Here we go again...

The construction industry was booming on the opening round of Nuclear War. Leaders were quick to take advantage of the falling raw material prices due to the market recession by financing infrastructure upgrades.
Snoopy built tasty Honey Wheat, DrSpike built the narcissistic I, Chaunk hired a Sailor, LordShiva pleased the mods with Locutus, and Spaced Cowboy interjected a Too. Krill failed to mention a name for his new city, thus, it is simply known as City.
EPW was up to something fantastically dirty, evil, and secret.
But Whoha was not content to do something constructive. Or something secret. His presence was to be felt. Verily. And immediately. To this end, he launched two nukes at Snoopy369, obliterating all the Wheat and Rye in the fields.
Thus ended the 1st day of Nuclear War.

Turn Report for Day 2:
Whoha launched 2 nukes at LordShiva.
It was a cloudy day today, as most of the world's leaders hid in the shadows secretly working on secretive secrets. Spaced Cowboy, LordShiva, Chaunk, and Snoopy all revealed no signs of their nefarious intentions.
DrSpike built a 5th city, Say. Meanwhile Krill renamed his previously unnamed city to Snakebite.
For a time, however, it didn't appear as if Snakebite would have much punch, as EPW launched 4 nukes towards Krill, one for each of his cities. When it looked like he was done for, though, Krill just started laughing maniacally, and moments later the 4 nukes plowed harmlessly into his bunker.
LordShiva was not as lucky. Whoha launched 2 nukes at 2 of his cities, and both nukes hit, culling Shiva's moderator empire by one-half.
Orders due in 24 hours. Really. (Though I admit it will likely be 28 or so hours before I get back from class and update... but I wouldn't push it if I were you.)Code:The World As It Stands, Turn 2

Yea, I screwed up the first time. But it wasn't up more than a minute or so. So sue me, why don't ya?
Secrecy was much less in vogue today than it was yesterday. While DrSpike continued to work on secret evil projects, others made their intentions much more clear.
Snoopy built another city to make up for those he had lost, this time named Multigrain. It was a vain effort, however, for as soon as the city had been built, a lone nuke from Chaunk destroyed Sourdough.
Krill, too, built a new city, uniquely named In A Pitcher. The timing of the build was quite fortuitous, for as soon as this fifth city had been completed, four nukes (2 each from Whoha and EPW) destroyed his other four cities.
LordShiva also built a new city, Solver, as Spaced Cowboy built "I mean WTF". Unlike the others who had built this turn, their enlarged domains actually remained enlarged. Which is good, so I am told.
