my avg free just detected this in 14 + files and I'm reading on the net a bunch of people got this problem. Anyone know what to do or what is happening?

oh yeah, one file is related to the civ 4 patch 303 (is that for warlords or bts?) I downloaded last night.

It's not related to the civ patch, unless you got it from limewire or something.

patched thru the game, I "healed" the infected files and so far the new scan doesn't show the threat. One theory is that today's avg update is mis-reading something we have in common, like a recent dl of a game or something.

AVG seems to have issues like this.

yup, the "healing" just put the files in the virus vault and they didn't show up on a re-scan. But I haven't dled anything except for the patches to civ 4, warlords, and bts. I removed and reinstalled them all last night.
