7 (very good)
The twelfth episode of Age of Nations (AoN), "Difficult Choices", has been released. Written by Gordon "Illuminatus" Smith and Daniel "DanQ" Quick, "[f]acing a full invasion, civil and military leaders in Greece are fracturing further. A sense of regionalism is now spreading amongst the populace. Two familiar faces make their return in the process: one set to help unite the country from the outside, and the other sure to divide it further from within".
AoN is the first Real-Time Strategy (RTS) machinima series, and the first Rise of Nations machinima endeavour that also blends some `live-action` footage for good measure. AoN is produced and published by Apolyton Civizization Site (ACS), one of the oldest and premiere online computer strategy gaming fansites on the Internet. It was one year ago today that the series was first announced and the pilot episode released [see story].
This episode runs for 20m49s and is available in both DivX and Windows Media formats with low-resolution and high-resolution variants. AoN's first season is now going on a one month hiatus and its thirteenth episode, "Loyalties Questioned", is to begin netcasting on February 22nd of next year. In the interim watch for new episode commentaries and other bonus features.
