How do you call the level beyond macro? Is it econ policy?

I should have mentioned the chocolate hills. I instead attempted to draw a figurative map, which probably was a bit demanding of one's map reading skills.

Macro is within the realm of the economy as a whole, micro is within the realm of individual agents (a company, a household), meso is within the realm of sectors (though I don't think meso-economics is a widely recognized field). Economic policy is usually macro.

In Germany the subject of "national economics" is usually sectored in 3 fields: micro, macro, economic policy. Don't ask me what they're about though, I haven't seen any economics lecture from the inside

Lot more handwaving in macro then micro.

Here is the blog I like, where I respect the author:

    http://macroblog.typepad.com/macroblog/

Here is the one that I actually like too, but where I butt****ed the professor for macroweenie handwaving logic flaws:

The blog seems ok, though I'm pretty suspicious of Fed-folk given their total rejection of money supply as an inflationary factor. (and to think that somebody recently had nerve to describe them as "monetarists")

Of course the money supply is the inflationary factor. Claptrap about inflation rates and M3 is what is silly.

If you have to append "science" at the end of an academic discipline, science is the last thing that it is. "Fooling around" would be more appropriate.

"Fooling around" comes in different flavours. The use of the scientific method makes it a science.

But you can fool around without resorting to the scientific method. If you do so, it's not science.

Because they're afraid of their own intelligence and imagination. They hate anything that is not conform with their standardized world. And this is not a freak speaking, I do fit well into most social environments and all, but I do keep an open mind for things, which maths people just don't.

Just because you have been repeatedly slapped around by KH doesn't mean you have to be so bitter about it.

IMO, if you really want to go for something great personally, you should couple your current studies with somehting artsy.
I'm done with political science (I have a Diplom from Stuttgart), and there is something deeply geeky about it. An artsy minor can combine the best of two worlds, I wish I had taken one.
