Don't sign me up as turn player. I have yet to purchase Civ4. I am in this for the Diplo part. Screenies would be very helpful.

I like SnagIt, but the printscreen button and Paint works, too.

Doesn't the print screen button simply put a screenshot in your screenshot directory?

Not sure. I thought that in Windows printscreen puts the screenshot in the clipboard. You need to paste to an imaging tool like paint to see and save.

But in Civ4, there is indeed a screenshot directory that if you hit print screen, a picture is plopped right in to. The directory is off of the "My Games" folder. I think it works everywhere, I've used it a bit for my mods. Oh, wait, no it doesn't work in game setup, before you actually start a game.

This is all pretty new to me too. I have spent the last few days going over posts to try and figure out how Diplo games work. I am willing to do whatever... Between school and home I am almost always on the computer. I don't get why they _freak_ out about games eatting up the bandwidth at school.

Anyway, let me know what needs done and I will do me best to screw it up.

I can Print Screen pretty well. I have seen some posts of other programs but I don't have them. Does it matter one way or the other? I can get them if I need to. Just need to know what size to resize them to and how to get them uploaded.

does not really matter, its important for the turn player to post screenies, so all those involved can see what is going on

Printscreen works well placing a pic in the screenshots folder. I too am will to help with reports.

Although I'll be honest, whilst I want to give this a go, the real reason I joined was to get a bunch of bananas next to my avatar.

I must not be turn player because I couldn't make the game jump from my computer to the computer(s) it must go to (and english is just my 4th language).
About screenshots,I just made it once,under extensive instrutions from Alva and a little help of my grand daughter,so...better don't.
Beside that,I am willing to play any roll.
I have the patch 1.52.

And insure about all that saves (in and out) and screenies.

But said mod is the great reason. Sorry.
