I pressed the print screen button at just the wrong time...was too lazy to take another. The sun passes by very quickly.

Hmmm...I'd love to show you guys a screenshot that some of you may be interested in....but I can't figure out how....it's a 350KB .jpg image.

Copy and paste from the paint application doesn't seem to work. Any hints would be appreciated...

press "print Screen" go to myDocuments/MyGames/Civilization4/screenschots

use the upload on poly (button in top hand right corner)

Copy paste the address in a post here

or attach it when you make a post (though you have to shrink it to 800 width and there's a max in size too)

If it still doesn't work, send me a PM

Ahh...thanks alva.

OK, this is a little somethin' different: screenshot at 1600x1200 with minimized interface (this is a hot-keyed option; appendix in manual describes these options). Also, grid turned on and screen locked at 45 degree angle ('nother hot-keyed option):

There is a 'remove interface' option, too.
Oh, and BTW, at this resolution and at 2x AA, game is pretty smooth (so far).

2.4GHz P4
1GB RAM
9800 Pro 128MB

I would like to add: mouseover works when interface is minimized, but does not when interface is removed. Pretty sure it is designed to work this way (i.e., not a bug). I'm liking the minimized interface; not too intrusive, but good info is still available without pop-up screens.

It's still a week or so before I get my preorder... Can hardly wait. I am seriously thinking of taking the offer of a school mate to use the version he is downloading right now(He never buys any games, won't pay when he can get it for free...

I'm right there with you on that... When I found out earlier that the Finnish release just got postponed til the 4th and that I wouldn't be getting my hands on it tomorrow, I thought: No biggie! I can handle waiting another week...
