are you laready member of LB? or 1889 is your alt nick? Can't 1889 ask it by himself? I don't think he needs anyone's help to keep a thread clean of not wanted posts.

And ok, I'll stop posting on the entire forums except "Turn sent", "34 babylon units killed this turn" and all other absolutely necessary and required informations.

I am not a member, and never shall be, of Lost Boys. I simply interpreted your post, ormuzd, as ... aggressive and/or roleplaying. Perhaps I misinterpreted it, in which case I apologize.

However, I think the point is needed to be made. We must keep roleplaying out of this thread, and other 'administrative' threads, and honestly anywhere where the OP doesn't invite it. Posts like Aqua's above are inappropriate in this thread, and not appreciated.

well on the fact that 1889 is looking for members, could some clarification please be provided for the other "players" in various teams.

1889 has made is clear many times that he wanted no members on the Lost Boys team.

thus a request for clarification:
is he now willing for others, and thus run a tem etc like all others?
does he just need some help so he can have a break, as he has held up a remarkable turn rate all by himself?
is he leaving?

I ask as we all, know people out here in this and other civ communities, and may be able to help. yet very hard to help with no idea what is going on

Given our circumstances at various times during this game we have been more than circumspect in our postings compared to the rest of you rabble. Within reason I will post what I like, where I like, particularly if said postings are clearly tongue-in-cheek and light and humourous, like the one in question!

Remember, this is the C3C Demogame Forum, and so all teams are free to post comments in all public threads. Why you would consider an essentially irrelevant thread entitled "Lurkers click here" to be administrative in nature in the same vein as the Save Game thread and Turn thread is beyond me. Perhaps if you want to keep roleplaying out of sight you should open a thread entitled "OOC".

In short, I suggest you refrain from allowing your bitterness to cloud your judgement

Aqua - I'm not being bitter. I have no problem with roleplaying posts, and make them often enough myself.

Some of the players in this game have not restricted themselves to roleplaying in appropriate places, however - and let that spill over, in ways that was very offensive to some other players. I am not alone in this belief, and it is not only members of my team - nor only members of my "side" - that believe this.

I'm simply saying, in administrative threads, do not post insulting, degrading, or 'role-playing' comments. It's not hard to avoid, and something that needs to be said.

The "Save Game" thread is for discussing the save - essentially, the primary game discussion thread - and so of course has roleplaying.

The "Turn Tracker" thread should have no discussion at all. We sadly have no-one to actively moderate that thread, to prevent abuses. You'll note that I have posted almost nothing other than "turn sent" or administrative things in there. I'd ask others follow that lead.

This thread is administrative, because it is attempting to recruit players to 1889's team. I think that's fairly obvious... the OP made no reference to the actual game situation or the actual game, only about his team (or his forum, I couldn't quite figure that out myself ).

first, each team has its own thread started while the game was setup
second, there is only one new member without a team who is posting here lately

I still fail to see my post as offending. At least the first post in thread says nothing new - each team would accept new members, even the Horde if this is the will of the poster. I have asked for more clarification which could help to 1889 make his position more clear and help to convince the people join his team.

As I said - I may have misinterpreted Ormuzd's question, particularly due to my skittishness at some of the other posts in recent memory (not by you particularly but in general). I interpreted it as implying something fishy was going on and/or implying he didn't need any teammembers due to being eliminated soon

I particularly am sensitive to any feelings that LB and Babylon have. They are both great groups of people and I don't want them to feel that I am betraying everything.

I probably know a tiny amount of stuff that could be potentially compromising, but I can assure everyone that I would not think to share or use it in any way whatsoever.
