Apolyton Pack crashes after loading savegame

Guys, sorry if this is covered elsewhere but i have tried searching quite thoroughly.

I recently came back to CTP2 after an abscence of a few years and was pleased to discover this fantastic fan site for the CIV games.

My current setup is CTP2, patched to 1.1, using the Apolyton pack.

My problem is that the mod works fine, but whenever i try to load a saved game, CTP2 just crashes to the desktop. I've followed the instructions in the readme to the letter - but still no joy.

I hope im doing something stupid which I have overlooked - can anyone help?

The save youre loading, was that game started using Apolyton Pack?

Yeah it was. I really am stumped. I've tried re-installing everything, and starting a game with the Apolyton pack and saving it straight away, then quitting and reloading. Everytime CTP2 crashes to the desktop.

That is very strange. Attach your Apolyton Pack save to this thread and ill see if i can load it.

To attach it as it is, put it inside a zip or rar archive.

Same for me though, crashes.

Its obviously not saving the game right. Have you tried loading the autosave?

Thanks again. The autosave comes up with the same result.

Just tried the crades mod - exactly the same problem. i consider myself fairly savvy with installing software etc etc, ii usually can suss things out before posting on forums, but this one really has me stumped.
