then tie damp clothes around neck in capelike fashion
and run around block yelling "I am normal!" until clothes are air-dried.

Hey all, here's a small contribution from me.
Cold War era Greek infantry, modified from work by Fairline and others. Don't know where you'd use him, but I'm proud of him anyway.

Oops, let's try this again...
Opa!

I'm curious, is anyone in the forum in posesion of a set of modern armored vehicles for the ToT pallet?

Check out the units on this website owned by Catfish...!Originally posted by Sarsstock

There are many classic modern types there...

Not being one to let a sleeping thread lie, here are some British infantry experiments for the TOT palette made some time back. Exceptionally shitty considering what current artists are capable of today. Ah well, at least it's assured that I'll be working on them for the rest of eternity.![]()

still better than anything i could crank out, my attempt at infantry camo units looked like it was scribbled on by pre-school kids with no hands,Originally posted by typhoon

Czechoslovakia is next.
A complete armies .zip will follow once I'm done.

Blooming nice commies there, Tanelorn!

BTW - I need a group of 1950s-era refugees, including woman, man and urchins...
These chaps will be Dalek fodder.
Any takers..???

Thanks man, it's been some time.
A cab driving #$%!@ crashed into my baby 10:06 this morning, hence the inspiration for the last dude in the row.
New paint job for the bumper, he's paying.
Jaruzelski's boys are coming.
P.S. Are these to be a single unit or 3 separate ones?

Excellent units, and shields!
I'd prefer all three in a single ToT unit square!P.S. Are these to be a single unit or 3 separate ones?

Stereotypes-smereotypes.
What is a typical 50's family?
Anyway, here goes fodder for "Russian generals in Polish uniforms".
Bulgaria is next.

These are truly goodlooking, tanelorn!
Are you making a soviet split up scenario or what?

Not really, I don't have the patience or time to actually finish a scenario especially now. Units are more like short-term goals.
These Bulgarians shields are not unit specific, apart from the paras and the marines. Badge n4 is post 1984, badge n5 is pre-70s.The Bulgarians helmets are all ww2 vintage models, like much of their equipment. This is even more true of the Romanians coming next.

Tim and Typhie: Excellent![]()

Thank you Gareth, really.
Btw, I am sure you must have an F111 or EF111 somewhere, mabye?![]()
Communist era Romanians, Bulgarians and Hungarians.
Fixed an oversight with the Bulgarians, added Czech infantry with field cap and the Polish army badge alternative to the "piast".
Various Soviet units are next. Then Cubans, perhaps.
What about Syrians rather?![]()

well, bulgaria did have 200 t-34/85's in service in 1988, killer tank force they had eh?Originally posted by tanelorn

As for who next, there's always the Vietnamese, North Koreans, and the Libyans. They were big Soviet allies.
But I'm sure you already knew that.![]()

Messed around to create some Falkland War Brits. Results are less than spectacular but you can only expect so much I suppose.
Well if thats the result of messin around my friend that is some mighty productive messin.

Thanks, civbuddies.
@Erika, Bulgaria is one of Europe's poorest countries, despite its resources, even more so now.
I visited Bulgaria back in the 80s and know people that "left" the country then as defectors and others that came later as immigrants. Obviously their views of the regime differ significantly.
Bulgaria was USSR's staunchest ideological ally in Europe, however Yugo-Romanian cooperation left it strategically isolated.
@rmsharpe, I know but good source material on the Libyans is very hard to find. Koreans are on the list though, check.
@Typhoon= talented and toweringly modest, as always.
Late cold war Soviets. 1943 to 1969 uniforms were basically the same ww2 gymnasiorkas. The KGB shield is a bit simplified. Hope you like them.

I know the Libyans are tough, that's why I just made them up for Malta.![]()

That RPG-7 troop is great - As are the others!!!

I'm pretty sure Fairline posted a alpine trooper a while ago but I couldn't find it again. Anyone care to repost?
Edit: I also need a modern spy.
