Prepared for the possibility of facing Vetko's entire fleet, Polly had prepared a maneuvered Lazorgeddon. This allowed Vetko to squeeze in some minor damage, but it was far too little to do more than just dent the enemy.
With a crushed fleet and no bases, Vetko found himself as the third member of the baseless club.

I think we go with GO2 rules rather than try to tinker with GO1.n rules again.

I'm not totally sure I like all of the Go2.0 rules yet, we seem to have lost the 24 bp for bases 7-12.
And the strangeness of having to always leave the base at home means 2 on 1 attacks can sometimes even be won by the defender, but at the expense of making a single attack less successful.

I'm not a fan of GO2. Jettison M, D and seperate defensive OoBs, and tweak the attrition rules, and GO1 is just fine, thanks.

Attrition rules need not exist. In GO1 baseless fleets were eliminated. Why not return to that?
