I disagree with disallowing short posts. Remember, brevity can be far more amusing when used appropriately.

Not that I would know anything about brevity, mind you... (I have a well cultivated reputation for needlessly long posts.

CFC has a ten character limit these days, and it's chief achievement is to stop people from answering "yes", "no" or "Japan" to simple questions. I wouldn't like it here either.

Curiously, "11 letter post" is just over that limit and would qualify.

Incidentally this thread has the first known mention of 'metaspam'. Its also ironically entitled Who thinks they will ever make Deity? and has Skanky and yourself saying you don't think you'll make Deity before 2006.

Especially when these statements were made many times in a short period by one person.
