I made a graphic for a custom faction by altering an old one (one with a dark purple background)
However, when I play the game, my bases are all in a green box. What am I doing wrong? I used photoshop 7.

Try using 'Pick Color' option (I believe it is, I use Paint, can't afford Photoshop), and copy the color into the custom colors, then use that color and fill wherever there is the purple, it should be (note that this is from Paint):

Hue:200
Sat:240
Lum:120
Red:255
Green:0
Blue:255

Hopefully this should help. It is a default pink in Paint, however.
