Not bad, three and a half months between turns. By this rate our children have a chance of finishing this game.

Hey, during the lapse between turns I upgraded to XP, and cannot get the XP patch to let me run SMAC. In fact, the patch file itself tells me that it is a non-XP program, and that it cannot run.
I managed to boot up the old computer to run the turn, but I don't want to have to switch PCs every time. Any advice?
if your using intels P4 you should also change
ForceOldVoxelAlgorithm in alfa.ini to 1
you can also try cklicking right mouse on terran.exe and in the compatibility tab in properties choose run as win98.
