    Announcement Regarding the Tri League Tournament

    It is with mixed feelings that RobWorham and I have decided to step down as Staff Members at Apolyton Civilisation Site.

    As such we will not be releasing any further games in the BtS Tri League Tournament.

    We hope that the senior administration at Poly are able to find suitable replacements for us, and the tournament continues as normal. We apologise for any inconvenience or disruption this may cause you.

    Our last day as BtS Tri-League Tournament Co-Leads will coincide with the closure of Tri-League Game #34 on Sunday 17th May 2009.

    Thank you for your encouragement and patience during the tournament, and for your support of the tournament and Apolyton.
    I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

    I think Nugog has summed my thoughts up nicely.

    Thanks to all of you for making my time on the Poly staff an enjoyable one!!!

      Good luck to both of you! Tri-League was a great series of games even if I could not always win the games. I hope it will continue in some form.

        Guys, we hope you will stay active and still support Apolyton. I for one have enjoyed many of your games and appreciate the time and effort you have put in to make the series available for people to have a comparative go at the same map, and seeing the different approaches available. We all learned a lot!

            Good News everyone!

            There are discussions going on between the Admins and people interested in continuing the Tournament.



            As such I will get the next game released late this weekend (late Sunday night Papua New Guinea time - which is kinda GMT + 10, minus 70 years ).

            RobWorham and I will offer all the support we can to the Admins and any new BTS TLT Lead or Co-Leads.

                      I am a fan of Nugog and RobWorham. They have been great participants here at Apolyton. The Tri-League Tournament has been my favorite part. As long as there are Hall of Fame votes here, these two guys will get my vote.
                      Yes, negotiations could take some time.

                          Um Ya, you guys did a fabulous job, sorry to see you both go.

                          Although I was a very casual player and never really took this tourney very seriously (It was all about the fun )

                          This is by far the main thing that kept me coming back to poly.

                              Alright guys, I hope the tournament will get carried on as soon as possible. They're basically the only CIV games I have time for.
