The first day of Gamescom has just begun.

Today is press day, from tomorrow on till Sunday public visitors will be able to take a look. The list of exhibitors covers almost any known publisher and a lot of developers. Among them are 2k and Firaxis, who entertain a Civilization 5 booth, where the game can be playtested.

Alternatively itīs possible to have a chat with Napoleon, Catherine and a couple other civ leaders...

During the upcoming days our coverage will be mostly around Civ5. That includes the game itself as well as a video interview with Jon Shafer, which is scheduled to take place tomorrow in the morning. Weīll be trying to catch other developers, too, maybe get them to reveal a bit of information that isnīt public knowledge, yet .

Aside from Civ5 there will be a general description of what is going on and weīll introduce a couple of the other presented games.

Stay tuned throughout the week!

Itīs fun for those who enjoy such an addition and those who donīt will be able to ignore it since it appears very late in the game and in little numbers if at all.

Good marketing strategy by Firaxis too. Lets find some very attractive girls to sell the game and wrap them up in as much clothing as possible.

The gamers demand scantily clad warrior princesses.

Having a sheet extra on them made the Firaxis booth special to every other booth
