I will be creating a thread where we can immortalize the winners and lossers and document forever the crowning achievements and stunning failures in Apolyton sports contests

As an example of one that I do at "another" site:

I need your help. We actually have a rich history of sports games/contests that have run on Apolyton. Some of the information I can find. Others, I wasn't involved. So I would like you to use this thread to post results from the Fantasy leagues and other contests that you might still have access to the results. Even a memory of who won (confirmed by somebody else that was involved) would be good, just so we can start putting together what has happened in the past.

But 2004 isn't included, and I know we included bonus points for picking the Super Bowl, and those aren't included, and we did have team events as well, so this data is kind of useless.

There have been tons of Fantasy Football, Baseball, and Hockey as well. I know some people do Soccer as well.

So I really need your help if we are to reconstruct our long history of sporting contests.

Not that it matter much here, but I won my work FFL this year.

Chumps

I was the 5th highest scorer all year long but the chips fell where they had too.

Playoff were week 15, standard 1v6, 2v5, 3v4.

I came in as the 4th seed and won. Our final is a three way match between the three winners of the playoff games.

The league high scorer laid a Christmas egg for me.

Two schools of thought.

1) Most all championships are based on a winner take all in final bracket, so the Champion would be the winner of the Playoffs

-or-

2) A regular season championship winner and then overall champion...still, like the old saying goes, throw them records out the window boyz, its do or die time now

OK... I've updated the record book. 16 events are now included.
I think I got everything that's been posted here, and anything I could track down the results.

I'm still missing early Lombardi football years because the totals shown at CBS don't include our special playoff bonus. So Reismark, if you still have results from the past, post them.
