Did anyone have Ryan Dunn From Jackass FAME? He died in a fiery car crash speeding after being in a bar. And to think, everyone thought he would die doing something stupid-rah

Well, we got more problems to deal with, see attached screenieOriginally posted by Paddy the Scot

well, I just did what was told me to.
Copied the file over my new, configured the game, played my turn, send the .sav and them backuped my old file.
The game was normal, three warriors, three settlers and no problems.
What we do now guys?
If ten thousand of your men die in front of the walls of an enemy city, order the other ten thousands men to climb their bodies and attack the city.

Just asking because I saw this happen in another gameOriginally posted by Charles_Bronson

The player did a "MANUAL SAVE" instead of pressing the end turn flashing icon on lower middle right?
Just asking

So, I try to creating again with the mod?
or without it?

Ill offer this quote, as I am in a LOT of games and have tried several with Mods and had to do a complete reinstall because of problems associated with moddingOriginally posted by Grandpa Troll
well, my 2 cents worth, I have had nothing but problems using a mod
I even had problems when I modded single player in a game with Vovan the results came across into his save
I really dont want a modded game as I am in so many wonderful games, I will back out if it has to be modded
Thanks for the offer thou
Gramps
I would say NO MODS unless of course someone can figure a way around this issue

I will create again WITHOUT the mod, ok?
Many people complained about the modding, and anyway it will broke the game balance (organized civs will have good starting bonuses).
I will just wait until I hear some people...

But i´ve tested in my system with no problem!!!

This is your save, i´ve opened it now, with no problems.
See what you lose, only 5 resources near your city.
Obviously we will have a remake.
Can you test your system grandpa? maybe a mod is loaded! Can you check? Or reinstall the Civ IV?

Charles, I too have that error in games I have started. Only solution I have that works is to restart that game![]()

yeah me too. NYE and I tried for hours the other night to work around this - solution - restart the game![]()

ok, now tell me: the game folder you downloaded the file and installed the game, is FAT32 or NTFS?

fat32 I think![]()

Is Fat32 on my machine![]()

Good, this was expected! There is an issue if you make a .sav file from a NTFS system, and try to load it on a FAT32 system.
I´ve converted my entire system now to NTFS
(took 5 minutes i think).
I will send you now the FAT32 old file i´ve sent to Grandpa (the same that didn´t work) so you can test it too.

Will try again.

Crashed my system with same error.![]()

Very interesting....I wonder if Firaxix know about this and applied a fix in the latest forthcoming patch.Originally posted by Charles_Bronson
